We are looking for an experienced Production Designer for a Bengali feature film set in 1940s Kolkata during the independence movement.
Requirements:
- 8+ years production design experience
- Period film experience (pre-independence India) essential
- Strong research capabilities and attention to historical accuracy
- Budget management for art department Rs 80 lakhs
- Portfolio of period set designs required
Scope:
- Design and build 15 sets (studio + location augmentation)
- Period-accurate props, signage, and dressing
- Coordinate with costume designer on overall visual palette
